The Surry Hills Creative Precinct is a non-profit organisation established to promote Surry Hills as a creative cluster and cultural hub. We are a rich collective comprised of like-minded local businesses committed to seeing Surry Hills and its businesses flourish; to promote and advocate for the area and its needs.

We seek to highlight and encourage the area's vitality; support new partnerships; to bring new projects to fruition: to have Surry Hills as a recognised international destination for outstanding design.

The Surry Hills Creative Precinct works closely and co-operatively with the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre, The Surry Hills Festival, The City of Sydney, Transport for NSW, The Office of the Commissioner for Small Business, Destination NSW, VESPA (destination marketing), The Darlinghurst Business Partnership, The Potts Point Partnership, The Sydney Chamber Alliance and local business partners and stakeholders to achieve outcomes to best serve our members, residents, workers and visitors to Surry Hills

The board of the Surry Hills Creative Precinct (SHCP), warmly invite businesses, professionals and individuals to join us to support and promote creativity in Surry Hills.

SHCP has a number of high level projects underway to bring real knowledge and understanding to how we can support the area's businesses.

One of our projects is about developing strategy to provide businesses with marketing support and develop networks and opportunities for collaborations.

Research will enable the precinct to determine what needs businesses require to enable them to grow into the future.

SHCP believes that the creative industries are the lifeblood of Surry Hills and it is through nurturing and promoting these industries that a vibrant and creative village precinct will continue to thrive and make the city a more appealing place to live, work and visit.

The Surry Hills Creative Precinct is more than a chamber of commerce for Surry Hills - it is an innovative and proactive hub for your business to market and network itself in an area with one of the highest concentrations of creative industry in the world.
