We’re a diverse community of creative sellers and independent traders specialising in handmade, second-hand and recycled goods.

Vintage fashion, valuable antiques, books, hand-made beauty products, designer labels and a chai stall. The market has it all. We’re open regardless of the weather, and over Christmas and New Year, the normal schedule is maintained.

You can also take a break from the market and enjoy a delicious menu at the Surry Hills Community Cafe. Simply cross the road and go to level 1 of the Surry Hills Library and Neighbourhood Centre. We have a range of sweet and savoury options to choose from. We subsidise our menu to keep the community cafe affordable and accessible.

The Surry Hills Community Cafe is air-conditioned during the summer months and has accessible toilets, including baby change facilities. The cafe opens on market day from 10am to 3pm.
