The Surry Hills Creative Precinct is responding to COVID-19 by building a permanent online live streaming platform for Surry Hills.

Inspired by the enormously successful online pivot of our live music activation, the Creative Precinct is evolving into a high-end community live-stream broadcaster – and you’re invited to be centre stage.

Surry Hills Live will keep our community connected. It will ensure Surry Hills businesses are front and centre of people’s minds. And it will set us all up for a prosperous recovery phase.

This is an opportunity to reach new and much larger audiences than ever before – now and well into the future.
Anyone can watch anything online.

At the moment it is harder to find a true sense of community. We can no longer stumble upon neighbourly business owners as we ramble down our street. But we can still tap into the human qualities that define our neighbourhood. We can celebrate the diverse aspects of our community that make Postcode 2010 unique. We can inhabit the same shared online space. And inspire one other through discussion, creative expression, and entertainment.

We’re creating hyper-local online content. It does not attempt to imitate what we have in the real world, nor compete with established entertainment platforms.

Surry Hills Live builds on the things we love about our neighbourhood and and strengthens our togetherness.
